Following a successful car show, Red Cedar Speedway is shifting its focus to the highly anticipated Randy Buss Icebreaker event, set to take place on April 11th. This annual race serves as a thrilling kickoff to the racing season, bringing together fans and competitors for an action-packed evening.
The event is proudly sponsored by Keyes Cheytown and Mars Race Cars, both dedicated supporters of the Red Cedar Speedway. Attendees can expect top-tier competition as five classes take to the track: WISSOTA Late Models, WISSOTA Modifieds, WISSOTA Super Stock, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds, and USRA Late Models.
The pit area opens at 4:00 PM, followed by the grandstands at 5:00 PM. Drivers will hit the track for hot laps at 6:00 PM, with the draw cutoff set for 6:30 PM. Racing action will begin at 7:00 PM
Pit passes are available for $35 without a membership and $30 for those with a membership. Memberships can be purchased for $25. Grandstand admission is set at $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and $10 for students ages 13-17, as well as college students with a valid college ID. Children 12 and under can attend for free.
